The BPM Festival is back and celebrating its fifth anniversary in the achingly beautiful setting of Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Beginning December 30, 2011, the Caribbean beach town located on the Mayan Peninsula will play host to ten days and nights of parties with some of today’s elite DJ talent including John Digweed, Dubfire, and Danny Howells as well as label showcases with some white-hot imprints like My Favorite Robot, Life and Death, and Hot Creations.
Some of the not-to-be-missed events include the All Day I Dream label showcase featuring Lee Burridge and Matthew Dekay hot on the heels of the label’s debut EP released last month and also Rebel Cave with Damian Lazarus and Jamie Jones, both of whom supported Sasha at his Never Say Never residency this summer in Ibiza.
The defining moment of the festival will take place at the Blue Parrot Beach Club where Danny Tenaglia (stay tuned to ElektroDaily.com’s exclusive interview with Danny – Coming Soon) will ring in the New Year with his twisted disco tribal thunder presented by Circo Loco.
