APHEX TWIN TO CONDUCT ORCHESTRA VIA REMOTE CONTROL

Aphex Twin will play a rare London show at the Barbican Hall on October 10.
The pioneering artist, considered the greatest of all time by many fans of electronic music, will conduct his Remote Orchestra in the UK for the first time.

The performance comes with assistance from the 28-piece Heritage Orchestra and their 12-strong choir, who will be conduced by Aphex, via remote control. That’s right, remote control. It will also mark Aphex’s first UK performance of his ‘Interactive Tuned Feedback Pendulum Array’, a piece which expands on Steve Reich’s ‘Pendulum Music’.
Aphex has already done his remote controlled orchestra thing in Poland, a video of which can be watched below. Tickets for the Barbican show are available for members as of today, and the general public from 10am tomorrow (June 28). More information can be found on the Barbican website.
